Fifteen years ago. this week In an exciting basketball game which required five minutes overtime over-time play to breaik a tie score, Milford high school vanquished Beaver by a score of 18 to 15. The Milford lineup consisted of R. Tanner, Tan-ner, Hickman, Webb, Jones aTid Schow. Milford Lodge I. O.O. F. No. 42 had held its annual installation of officers at the Odd Fellows' hall and the following men were installed: in-stalled: C. E. Burgess, noble grand; Horace Palmer, vice noble i grand; Robert Sherwood, secretary, secre-tary, and 0. F. Hubbell, treasurer. Mrs. Charles Kelly, of the Milford Mil-ford Millinery shop, had returned from a two week's visit in San Francisco and Oakland. While there she attended the . fashion show and looked over the styles for 1929. i J The Pierian club had met at the home of Mrs. Roy White January 14. Those present were Mrs. D. A. Baxter, Mrs. Bruce Allyn, Mrs. E. L. Bardsley, Mrs. L. G. CLay,! Mrs. Robert Sherwood, Mrs. R. B. j Young, .Mrs. Freda Outzen and Mrs. Willard Nichols. j Engineer and Mrs. O. A. Melcher' had been receiving congratulations ' on the birth of a beautiful girl, born January 14. The Milford Valley Lodge No. 19, of the Odd Fellows encampment, encamp-ment, had also installed officers for the coming year.
