Show Mrs. R. M. Banks Buried Thursday Funeral services were held in the Minersville L. D. S- ward chapel Thursday afternoon of last week for Mrs. Randell M. Banks, 49, who died two days earlier cf complications following a imajfar operation. The services were in charge of Bishop C. K. Jameson and the speakers were Alma Banks and Frank D. Williams, with Bishop Jameson offering a few closing remarks. The invocation and benediction bene-diction were offered by Leonard Banks and Flyod B. Wood-Musical Wood-Musical numbers included two selections, by the choir, a vocal duet by Vivian Marshall and Sylvia Syl-via Davis and a vocal solo by Harold Har-old Baker. Flower bearers were members of the Mothers club, of which Mrs. Banks was a member, while Richard Banks, Robert Banks, Burton Banks, Wayne Burton, Bur-ton, Harold Clark and Stanley Beaumont served as pall-bearers. Interment took place in the Minersville Min-ersville cemetery under the direction direc-tion of the Southern Utah Mortuary. Mortu-ary. Mrs. Amelia Burton Banks wasj bom November 1, 1S90, at Paro-1 wan, a daughter of Sidney R. and! Amelia Winrmer Burton. She re- j sided there until her marriage to Mr. Banks, which took place June 1 9, 1909, at Minersville, the cere-' mony being repeated later in the j Salt Lake temple. They had made ! their home in Minersville since their marriage- Mrs. Banks had , been active in L. D. S. church and i D. U. P. circles. She had served ! as counselor in the ward Relief society and at the time of her death was adviser over Relief so-j ciety teachers. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Virginia Beaumont of Beaver, Burton Banks of Kanab, Dorothy, Jessie, Shannon, Robert and Rich-1 ard Banks of Minersville. Also surviving are five brothers and ' sisters: Lindsey Burton, McGrace, ' New York; Mrs- Gwen Van Patten, Pat-ten, Oneida, New York; Wayne Burton,, Minersville; Mrs. J. F. McCarthy, Salt Lake City; and H. F. Burton, Jerome, Arizona. f |
