Show fiRMAGEJTHEATRE Friday and Saturday "Beware Spooks", with Joe E. Brown, Mary Carlisle, Clarence ! Kalb, Marc Lawrence and others in the cast, comes to the Firmage theatre Friday and Saturday as one of the pictures in a double feature show. It is a comedy. Brown becomes a policeman because be-cause of his father's excellent reputation as a cop. He bungles an arrest, is dismissed from the I force, takes his bride to Coney I Island and beecmes a hero when he catches criminals in the spook house of the amusement park. "Outpost of the Mounties", with Charles Starrett, Iris Meredith and Stanley Brown in the cast, comes to the theatre as the other picture of a double feature show for Friday and Saturday. It is a western melodrama with music. Charles Starrett, a Canadian Mountie, comes to a town where the owner of a trading post is reducing re-ducing people to poverty because of high prices. He straightens things out and wins Miss Meredith. Mere-dith. Chapter 10 of the serial, "Lone Ranger Rides Again" also will be shown. Sunday 'Topper Takes a Tidp",- with) Constance .Bennett, !Roland Ybung, Billie Burke, Alan Mowbray and others in the cast, comes to the Firmage theatre Sunday only. In this film a husband and wife are killed in an auto accident and the wife and her dog appear to do good deeds to atone for their misspent mis-spent life. Miss Bennett succeeds in reconciling a hen-pecked husband hus-band and a wife who is getting a divorce. The latest news and a travelogue, "Arabian Bazaar", also al-so will be shewn. A matinee will be given at 2 p.m. (Monday Jane Withers and Leo Carrillo are together again! This time they're in the 20th Century-Fox screen version of "Chicken Wagon Family", that heart-warming story by Barry Benefield that stirs the wanderlust in all of us, coming to the Firmage theatre Monday only. The story concerns a carefree family who hears the call of the open road, travels around the country, bartering trinkets for chickens which they sell when they hit the big city. Enroute they meet adventure, excitement and romance. Three cartoons also will be shown. A matinee will be given at 2 o'clock p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday The! drama-packed story of Harry Faversham, who is accused of cowardice by his closest friends when he resigns from his regiment regi-ment on the eve f its departure to join Kitchener's army in the Sudan, and who redeems himself by some of the most daredevil feats on record, is unfolded in the gripping tale of "Four Feathers", new technicolor picture which comes to the Firmage theatre Tuesday and Wednesday. In the cast are Ralph Richardson, John Clements, C. Aubrey Smith and June Duprez. The latest news also will be shown. Thursday "Spirit of Culver", with Jackie Cooper, Freddie Bartholomew, Tim Holt, Henry Hull and others in the oast, comes to the Firmage theatre Thursday- The film opens in 1932 with Jackie Cooper, a boy waiting in the breadline. He is recognized as the son of an outstanding out-standing war hero and is given a scholarship for Culver Military academy. His roommate, Freddie Bartholomew teaches him! the value of patriotism.
