Show Ruminatin' $ Roundabout f I In which Ruminator proposes to dream a lot, think as little as necessary, scatter a few bouquets bou-quets while their objectives are still above the sod to enjoy them, and fire a hot-shot now and then while said Ruminator Ruminat-or can enjoy seeing the sparks fly. If you are not reading carefully the syndicate service sections of The News you are missing some most worthwhile features. We have been commended highly for these features, some praise coming from parties who have access to the many features offered by California Califor-nia papers but not in a single paper, as in The News. This week there is an illustrated article on the Japanese balloons which are 'being cast adrift from the homeland in the fond hope of the upside-down thinking Japs that they will do damage of some kind in this country; also' pictures of "l!)4fi" model cars' to be turned out by two manufacturers; .and the usual Baukage, Drew Pearson, Walter Winchell, Paul Mallon, Virginia Vale, and H. J. Phillips columns not to mention the "gay gadgets" feature, which should make a hit with our 'teen-age readers. Last week's News contained an article explaining and illustrating the new "teeter-totter" method of artificial respiration, which bids fair to displace the Schaefer or prone method, which has been the recognized method of the past.
