Show Legion Auxiliary Wins Citations Milford is one of three units of the American Legion Auxiliary in the department of Utah which have been awarded citations from the national organization for the outstanding work accomplished in their communities in American-izaton American-izaton and libraries for the year 1935, according to Mrs. J. C. Reb-holz, Reb-holz, national committeewoman from Utah. Cedar City and Logan are the other two units to be similarly simi-larly honored. Mrs. Rebholz will present the citations to Milford and Cedar City at the district 7 convention to be held at Hurricane Hurri-cane Saturday and Sunday, January Janu-ary 11-12. The department of Utah -won one of eight trophies, the Macrae Membership trophy, presented by j the national organization. On this! beautiful silver cup is inscribed "Over the Top With the Legion." It is given to the department having hav-ing 75 per cent or more of its Legi&n membership. In other words, the department of Utah had a higher membership in comparison com-parison to its Legion membership than any other state for 1935. Mrs. Rudolph Nielsen of Milford takes particular pride in these honors coming to Milford and to the state since she has been state chairman of community service and unit activity for the past year. |
