Show 1 1 All In Readiness For VetsBig Time Harry Hearn, new president of the- Milford Town Board of Trustees, Trus-tees, says he will be glad to be at the Veterans of Foreign Wars dance, lunch and raffle to be held at the Arion hall Thusday, January Janu-ary 16, and will act in the capacity capa-city of judge at the drawing for the six beautiful blankets. Another novel arrangement for the affair will be the manner in which the Vets are to provide lunches enough to go around. Each lady who attends is requested to put up a lunch in a box or basket enough for two people. This lunch will be deposited at the door as she enters. Immediately after the blanket drawing these lunches will be auctioned off to the highest high-est bidders and the purchasers will then invite some friend to accompany ac-company him to partake of the lunch at the old opera house, where hot coffee will be served free by the Veterans. All ladies bringing lunches are asked NOT to put their names in the baskets or boxes. |
