Show Fat Salvage Workers Make Fine Record The Milford Women's Salvage committee, reportiitg on kitchen fats shipped upstate during the .year 1944, give the following figures: From January 1 to May 1, Mrs. Fred O'Leary, chairman . up to that time, shipped 2,350 pounds, and, from May 1 to December 31, Mrs. Robert Limb, the present chairman; on kitchen fats salvage, reports she has sent 2,483 pounds a grand total of 4,835 pounds of kitchen fats Milford housewives have contributed to the war effort. Mrs. Limb is doing a fine job and is happy to do this. She has five sons now serving with Uncle Sam and says, "If this will help to bring my sons home sooner, I'm certainly glad I can help." She and her husband have placed a stove in their back yard, where they render the fats from the local butcher shops and other ' sources. Since January 1, 1945, Mrs. Limb has shipped an additional 300 pounds. Save yoru fats; take them to four local' butcher shops, where you will receive two red points per pound. They, in turn, send the fats to Mrs. Limb, who salvages sal-vages all into large containers and makes shipment to Salt Lake City. |
