Show Mrs. J. M. Williams rulurned home Friday of last week, after visiting in Provo and Salt Lake City for the past six weeks. Mrs. Dick Johnston and three j children, Jeanne, Dickie and Bobby of Las Vegas, spent Wednesday and Thursday of last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham, and family, Mrs. Johnston, John-ston, the former Peggy Blackburn, came to see her brother, MSgt. Walden Blackburn, whom she had not seen for more than seven years. Squire J. Koch was a visitor over the week-end at the home of his brother, 0. C. Koch, popular Tel-luride Tel-luride manager and community worker. The visitor was employed in the shipyards at Richmond, California until recently and this was his first visit to Milford. While here he participated in a Fathers' day dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard W. Cook in South Milford, Mrs. Cook being ; the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 0. C. Koch. The Lady Firemen held their regular lodge meeting Friday evening eve-ning of last week at the I. 0. 0. F. hall. After the meeting they all went to the home of Mrs. William Dawson and spent the remainder of the evening playing cards. At bridge the prizes were won by Eva Banks for hUh points and Bethany Edwards for high honors, while j Garnetta Hollis received the con-! con-! solation prize. Pinochle prizes were received by Alma Sly and Al-' Al-' meda Holbrook. Mrs. Irene Atkin Carter is back at her duties in the Telluride Power company office following a honeymoon trip to Kansas Wjith her sailor husband, Robert L. Carter, fireman first class. They were married May 21 at Milford as the culmination of a school-day' romance. Mr Carter left recently re-cently for Salt Lake City for an expected new assignment, previously pre-viously having served some 19 months in the New Hebrides with a boat repair unit. |
