The Service Men's Wives club members were entertained Friday of last week at a weiner roast at Hanging rock. The hostesses were Mrs. LaPrele Banks and Mrs. Merlin Mer-lin Limb. Seaman Daisel Rollins was in town Sunday, with his wife and baby, for a visit with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Carter entertained enter-tained Monday night at a family dinner for their son, Seaman Calvin Cal-vin Carter, who left Wednesday to report back for duty in Salt Lake City. Out-of-town guests were Miss Eleanor Johnson and Miss Roma Parkinson of. Beaver. "Cal" also was entertained at a family party by his sister, Mrs. Clarence ; Gillins. ' Stan E. Marshall, young daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Newell Marshall, Mar-shall, was painfully injured when she fell while roller skating, breaking break-ing her wrist. Dinner guests at the Ed Goodwin Good-win home on Father's day were Mrs. Leila Goodwin and family and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith and family of Summit. Also present were Mr. and Mrs. StSanley Fisher and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Phil Fisher, with the latter's baby, all Midvale. Mrs. Rhoda Ramsey is a house guest at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Sherwood. Visiting here from Oregon are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Galoway, parents of Mrs. Vera Bendixon. The Minersville Dairy association associa-tion is quite proud of the new Iwirn which will care for 300 cows when capacity is reached. At present ; 1 00 are being milked. They are I producing grade A milk which is j being shipped to Las Vegas, Ne-i Ne-i vada. j Mrs. I. H. Nolder is in Salt Lake City this week on business. She was accompanied by Mrs. Gertrude Gert-rude Dalton, who is acting as her chauffeur. Miss Laltu Marshall returned recently from Provo, where she had been visiting her sister, M'rs. Forrest Iamphore, since school finished. Daughters of Utah Pioneers will hold their meeting Thursday under the direction of the new president, Mrs. Gertrude McKenzie. Floyd Rollins, son of Mr. and Vein Rollins, is hemic. Floyd was injured in action in Italy and has suffered the loss on one foot. Bob Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carter and husband of the former Ire ne Atkin, left recently for Salt Lake City, where he expects ex-pects to get a new navy assignment. assign-ment.
