Show CONGRESSMAN ELECT MURDOCK SPEAKS TO NEPHI KIWANISES Congressman-elect Abe Murdock of Beaver, was the principal speaker at the regular weekly busines session of the Nephi Kiwanis club held Wednesday Wednes-day noon. Congressman-elect Murdock Mur-dock stressed the need for the expansion expan-sion of our currency, and read two bills recently presented to Congress for its consideration. Both bills were dealing with the expansion of the currency. cur-rency. Mr. Murdock stated that in his opinion op-inion the expansion of the U. S. currency cur-rency would bring back prosperity quicker than any other single thing that the government could do. He stated that the money given to the people through the Reconstruction Finance Corporation was only a temporarily tem-porarily relief, and what was needed was Congres to pass a bill that would bring the American dollar down, and the price of fai'm commodities up, and until this was done, the United States would not see prosperity return. The speaker stated that the bill recently re-cently presented to Congress that provide pro-vide for the re-establishing of silver on a 16 to 1 basis with gold was the bill which he believed should be passed pass-ed by Congress.
