Show $9.41 PER CAPITA IS FIGURE SET BY STATE SCHOOL ALLOTMENTS The forty school districts in the state Tuesday were apprised of their January apportionment of the state district school fund by Charles H. Skidmore, state superintendent of public instruction. The total apportionment appor-tionment is $1,395,286.72, which gives the school districts a per capita sum of $9.41. In addition, Superintendent Skid-more Skid-more reported, the school districts received re-ceived $190,531.96 as an October apportionment, ap-portionment, boosting the aggregate to 1,588,219.29, making a per capita appropriation of $10.41. The total sum includes $1,516,087.33 and from the district school fund and $72,134.96 from the land interest and rental fund. A supplemental apportionment will be made later in January upon receipt of further taxes. ' |
