I Mrs. Hazel Ward left Sunday for a brief visit at Las Vegas, New, and Los Angeles, Calif., with friends and relatives. Mrs. Fem Nowers returned to her home at Beaver Saturday accompanied accompan-ied by her sister, Miss Erma Hickman. The Bible class of the M. E. church held an interesting meeting Thursday Thurs-day evening. There was a good attendance. at-tendance. Tom Schow, who has been visiting relatives and friends in Milford for the past two weeks, returned Monday night to Glendale, Calif. M. H. Pool, wife and daughters, ac- ' companied by Mrs. Elam Fouts, drove up to Salt Lake City Sunday, returning return-ing Monday. W. O. Cluff and E. B. Ramsay of Richfield have been spending the week in Milford in the interest of the Tellu-ride Tellu-ride company. R. E. Ellingsworth and family left Wednesday morning for Los Angeles for a short visit with Mr. and Mrs. Ellingsworth's son and wife. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Williams, of Minersville, at the Mlford hospital, Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Fernley of i Caliente, Nevada, are in Milford this week. Mrs. Fernley underwent a ! serious operation at the Milford hos-j hos-j pital Monday. She is reported as do-! do-! ing fine. I Miss Ellen. Ford, accompanied by., her mother, left for Salt Lake last Sunday where she will resume her studies at the University of Utah. Miss Ford has spent the past month in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cottrell, who have spent the past month visiting their son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cottrell, in Ohio, and other relatives rela-tives in Kansas returned home Monday Mon-day morning. Superintendent Dr. Handler made a special trip to fill the pulpit of the M. E. church Sunday morning and evening. Services were well attended attend-ed and Dr. Handler's remarks brought cheer and comfort to the congregation. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fernley came up from Caliente, New, Monday to be with their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Warren War-ren Fernley who underwent an operation op-eration at the Milford hospital. Mr. Fernley returned to Caliente Tuesday, but Mrs. Fernley will stay until Mrs. I Warren Fernley is out of all danger. WANTED Live poultry. Mrs. Walter Weber of South Milford, Mil-ford, and Miss Ethel Stanley, Ogden, were graduate pupils at North Ilamp-jton Ilamp-jton school where Mrs. Coolidge taught when she was a young woman. They met her and her mother during visits from Washington and admired their wonderful traits. |
