The partners are now busily engaged in running a tunnel to tap the vein, over 100 feet of its estimated total length of 360 feet having been completed. Further development of this property and several others in that vicinity will be awaited with real interest. Extensive further development of the Independent Silver Mining property prop-erty in the Beaver Lake district will be undertaken immediately after the return from St. Paul, about the last of this month, of Managejr Peterson, word to this effect having reached local parties this week. This property is being financed largely with Minnesota Minne-sota capital and with the coming of Mr. Peterson there will become available avail-able considerable new capital that should make this a shipping property proper-ty and add to the interest in this section. sec-tion. Mr. Peterson is well known for his conservative statements but his faith in the Independent is amply proved by the hard work and long hours he and his son have devoted to j the property to put it into its present pres-ent stage. |
