Show VICTORYTHEATRE The frontier town of Tombstone, .Arizona, makes its last stand against the onrush of civilization in "Frontier "Fron-tier Marshal," the latest Fox film release, re-lease, which come to the Victory theatre Friday and Saturday as one part of a big double show. Tombstone Tomb-stone is the town that was overrun by lawlessness and banditry, until that famous peace officer, Wyatt Earp, made his appearnce on the frontier and brought it law and order. The screen play was adapted from incidents in the life of Wyatt Earp, and George O'Brien plays the title part. Irene Bentley has the feminine lead opposite O'Brien in "Frontier Marshal," and the supporting support-ing cast includes Berton Churchill, Ruth Gillette, George E. Stone, Russell Rus-sell Simpson, Ward Bond, Edward LeSaint and others. Lew Seiler is the director. Romance with dramatic complications, complica-tions, comedy cavortings and intrigue as delectable, gay and giddy as cocktails cock-tails and caviar are just a sketchey idea of what "Three On a Honey-; Honey-; moon" is like. The film, featuring Sally Eilers and ZaSu Pitts, is the ! other feature on a big double pro-i pro-i gram for Friday and Saturday of j this week. The screen play is so i downright funny and appealing, that you cant help but enjoy the numerous num-erous complications in which a spoiled ! but pretty young girl finds herself. "Men in Whrte", coming to the j Victory Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, Tues-day, brings a new and highly wel-I wel-I corned screen team to grateful au-jdiences. au-jdiences. Clark Gable and Myrna Loy set a new high this season in fine dramatic teamwork, and promise to I give the other popular combinations ! some sprightly competition. "Men j in White" is a hospital story, the finest if its kind you are ever apt to see. The drama is concerned with the struggle of a young interne to become a great surgeon in spite of his passionate love for a beautiful heiress. The training on which the interne is bent leaves no time for amorous dalliance, which results in disappointment and a fleeting liaison with a nurse. As a result of their momentary intimacy, Barbara, the nurse, is the victim of an illegal operation, which ends in peritonitis. The supporting cast is exceptionally brilliant. Jean Hersholt, Otto Kra-ger, Kra-ger, C. Henry Gordon, Russell Har-die, Har-die, Wallace Ford, Henry B. Walthall Walt-hall and others of note all add to the dramatic workmanship of this excellent ex-cellent film. Capitalizing on the genteel headlines head-lines of today's society pages, and playing a searching light on the debutante de-butante racket, Fox Film's latest release, re-lease, "Coming Out Party," offering offer-ing the lowdown on high life, makes its appearance on the screen of the Victory Wednesday and Thursday of next week. The film is said to reveal re-veal numerous secrets of the social circle.-', such as how ambitious mothers mo-thers fight for the best "coming out party" nights, why a social secretary gets a 10 per cent rakeoff on all debutante de-butante orders, where all the men come from for parties, and a host of 1 ! other enlightening details that the ' society page never tells. Frances i Dee and Gene Raymond have the ro-j ro-j mantic leads, and head a cast that includes such stellar names as Alison Shipwirth, Xittal Bruce, Harry Green. Gilbert Emery, Majorie Gate-son, Gate-son, Clifford Jones, Jessie Ralph and iGermaine de Xeel. |
