Show BEAVER The east side of Beaver has taken on quits an improved appearance with the moving to the sides of the streets of the light poles from the street centers, where they have heretofore here-tofore been located. Roy Yardley and George Anderson Ander-son left Sunday to attend college a St. George. Beaver can boast of having 67 " students enrolled at the Belknap elementary ele-mentary school, the junior high ami the senior high school this year. William Morris and son LaMar and Mr. and Mrs. Mack Gillian and little daughter Sherleen of Milford spent Tuesday at Beaver with the Otto Schwob family. Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Smith spent last week at Cedar City with their daughter, Mrs. Bill Melling. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gale left Sunday Sun-day for a ten day trip to Chicago where they will take in the Worlds fair. They were accompanied by their sister and brother-in-hy, Mayor and Mrs. Harvey Lmnton of Paragonah. Mrs. Press Whornham was a Mil-ford Mil-ford visitor Saturday. Laban Burt and Herm Burt left this week for Afton, Wyoming, to plaster a new home for their niece. Mrs. Kathleen Burton, of that place. Mrs. Don Nielson and twin boys of the upper Telluride station spent Tuesday as the guest of their nur.-e. Miss Stella Burt. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schwob spent the week-end at Milford, where Mr. Schwob went for medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. George Whornham of Delta spenlt Tuesday at Beaver with Mr. Whornham's mother, Mrs. Nancy Whornham, before leaving to make their home in Planio, Idaho, for the coming winter. |
