Show LOCAL BUSINESS CHANGES HANDS Thu value rto the community of the local fuel and farm hardware .s tot ft was not fully appreciated until tie? past couple of weeks, during which thu local store was closed while the affairs of the concern, heretofore owned by It. C. Murdock of Beavei, were being adjusted by creditors of Mr. Murdock. As stated in tho announcement appearing ap-pearing in a display ad elsewhere in this issue, the store is today being reopened re-opened for business under the ownership owner-ship of Frank A. Stewart. Mr. Slew-art Slew-art has been associated in the operation opera-tion of ithe store since Murdock purchased pur-chased the business- from William Morris, but has not been able to put into effect to the fullest ideas of his which should makfl the store outstanding out-standing in its service to the public. With th ownership ve-ted in him solely and given full rein to stock the store as business undoubtedly warrants, we predict a bright future for the store and for Mr. Stewart, who has! already established a name for himself as one of the progressive business men of the compnunity. |
