Show o SOUTH MILFORD Miss Ethel Stanley was the guest of Mr.' and Mrs. Earl Dewey Sunday evening at a picinic supper at Mc Cune's cabin. Mrs. Ray Snyder and two little daughters of Los Angeles arrived in Milford last Friday afternoon and were met by her sister Mrs. Roy Cot-trell. Cot-trell. The day being the birthday-anniversary birthday-anniversary of their mother Mrs. W. W. Cook, the daughters prepared at i Mrs. Cottrells' home a turkey dinner with a huge birthday cake as an accompaniment, ac-companiment, and that evening surprised sur-prised Mrs. Cook at her home on the ranch south of Milford, the occasion was a delightful one as Mrs. Snider has not visited Milford for rmany months. Jess, Walter and Howard Cook, with Roy Cottrell and small son, were included among the guests at the dinner. Mrs. Snider and her girls returned to Los Angeles Monday Mon-day morning. J. W. Connell of the Ogden City High School faculty is visiting his sister Mrs. Reuben Jones, his two small sons are ako visitors with him at the ranch. The 4-H girls finished their ruo; making project last Wednesday afternoon af-ternoon and will next take up the making of their scrap books which count so much towards their completed com-pleted work. The Merry'makers club held another anoth-er enjoyable party at The Club house last Friday evening. We admit a conscious pride in the young trees from the college which were set out last ppring by our residents. resi-dents. We find few losses and the trees are making a fine growth, showing great care on the owner's part. Jess Cook underwent a tonsillectomy tonsillec-tomy at The Milford Hospital Wednesday Wed-nesday morning and returned home today. o |
