Show NEW OFFICERS TO SERVE LIONS Recommendations of the nominating nominat-ing committee, appointed at the regular regu-lar Lions luncheon last week were approved unanimously at yesterdays yester-days meeting- and the new officers of the Milford Lions club for the ensuing ensu-ing year will be as follows: Presi-: dent, Harold Cline; first vice-presi-j dent, 0. F. Hubbell; second vice-' president, O. C. Koch; secretary-treasurer, secretary-treasurer, J. R. Murdock; directors, li. E. Ellingsworth, P. J. Williams and Dick Nelson; Lion tamer, David S. Williams; tail-twister, L. A. Wynaught. Wy-naught. Lion President R. E. Ellingsworth presided at the meeting and Lion L. A. Wynaught reported a special directors' di-rectors' meeting of the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern Utah, held at Bryce canyon, which he attende.i in place of Senator George Jefferson. Jeffer-son. Dr. F. B. Parkinson of Cedar City, attending the meeting as the guest of Lion Charles R. Parrish. urged the need of the sportsmen of southern Utah taking an active interest in the appointment of the sportsman member of the new big same board of control provided for by an act of the recent legislature. |
