Show Minersville Holds Armistice Program A. splendid Armistice Day program was given Friday morning, November Novem-ber 9, at 11:00 o'clock in the Minersville Miners-ville high school. The oratorical contest, con-test, which was sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, proved to be of special interest to the large crowd which was in attendance. The orations given by the three contestants were all very interesting and showed that great effort had j been nut forth in the nrenaration of their speeches. Miss Phyllis Marshall Mar-shall was selected by the judges as the one to receive the bronze medal which is awarded by the American Legion Auxiliary. The judges of the contest were Mrs. Ardith Outzen, Mrs. Naomi Hughes and Mrs. Beryle Dean of Milford. Other Auxiliary members from Milford who attended the program were Mrs. Jennie Bowen, Mrs. Ethel Smith, Mrs. Artel Beecher and Mrs. Christie Lyman. The following is the program which was rendered with Mrs. Frances Wood, second vice-president of the American Legion Auxiliary, taking charge. (Selection by the high school band.
