Show Former Pastor Leaves For Home In Oklahoma The Reverend J. B. Webster, former for-mer pastor of the local Methodist; church, is leaving Thursday for Per- j ry, Oklahoma, accompanied by his wife and two sons, the trip being made by car and trailer, with the latter lat-ter carrying many of their household goods and also furnishing living arrived in Milford T htachedwithwife ouarters enroute. The Websters came to Milford in March, 1933, Mr. Webster having been appointed to the Methodist pastorship, pas-torship, and he has been a vital force in many worthwhile activities ever since he came, including the Boy Scout work, having served as Scoutmaster Scout-master of Troop 324 for more than a year, continuing actively with the work even after he ceased to be pastor. pas-tor. Needless to say, he leaves here with the people of the town feeling keen regret at his departure, while wishing him and his good family all the luck in the world. Perry, Oklahoma, where the family is destined, is the home of Mrs. Webster's Web-ster's home folks. |
