Show Local Man Named To FERA Position Fighting hard for the naming of Robert Sherwood of Milford as county coun-ty FERA manager, but hopelessly outvoted, J. M. Hughes, Milford FERA committeeman since last June, did succeed in having Mr. Sherwood assigned to the position of bookkeeper, taking the place of J. Frank Smith of Beaver, who was elevated to the position of manager to take the place of Theodore Bohn, whose resignation was accepted. The committee is composed of three Beaver Bea-ver citizens, Cyrus Bradfield from Minersville and Mr. Hughes from Milford and this is understood to have been the first meeting of the committee since June though there have been several matters of major importance which are supposed to have come before the committee during dur-ing that time. These changes in the FERA office of-fice personnel are not effective until November 1. It is understood that Mr. Sherwood will continue his residence resi-dence in Milford while making the I trip back and forth. |
