Show DEER HUNTING SUCCESSFUL Many times more deer, a larger number killed and all of them in 9 good or better condition than those of past years, despite the drouth, is the common report of local deer hunters, who, in their pursuit of their pronged prey, visited most of the better known areas of southern Utah. The big majority of those hunters going prepared to stay for two or three days returned with nice trophies. tro-phies. An increasing number of the wives of the hunters accompanied them this year and had the pleasure of attaching tags to nice Bpecimenu of the antlered tribe. Generally speaking, the deer were found lower down than heretofore, the cedar benches being full of them, while there are reports of two or three having been shot in the fields south of town. |
