Show SOCIETY Mrs. W. P. Frazier entertained her bridge club Thursday evening at her home. Members present were Mesdanics W. Carlson, R. C. Palmer, W. Dawson , W. M. Vor-hees, Vor-hees, W. L. Vorhees, S. Vorheos and J. Andrews. Invited guests were Mesdames W. Morris, Dick Jones, B. E. Hutchings and A. Johnson. Prizes were: Mlrs. W. L. Vorhees, honors; Mrs. R. C. Palmer, points; consolation, Mrs. A. Jensen , and guest prize, Mrs. Dick Jones. Pierian Club Mrs. R. E. Ellingsworth was a gracious hostess to the Pierian club at her home Monday evening June 9th. ' The English lesson was conducted by Mrs. J. R. Murdock, Sr., which proved both interesting and helpful, current events were given by Mrs. Outzen. Present wore Mesdnmcs L. G. Clay, E. L. Bardsley, J. K. Murdock, Mur-dock, Sr., and Freda Outzen. Guests of the evening were Mrs. J. Andrews, Mrs. Dwight Christopheison of Long Beach, Calif., and Miss Hetty El- i lingsworth. Before the guests dissembled dis-sembled the hostess assisted by her daughters the Misses Betty and Ellen Ellingsworth served a very tempting luncheon. The club will be entertained entertain-ed by Mrs. J. M. Hughes at the next meeting. Mis. Marion Vincent entertained the following ladies at bridge Thursday evening: Mesdanics K. Coons, V. Rochck, M. Murphy, W. Ashworth, H. Chilton and Vincent. Invited guests were Mrs. T. Campbell Camp-bell and Mrs. B. E. Hutchings. Pri- zes won were: Mrs. Rochck, points; Mrs. Coon, honors, and Mrs. Hutchings Hutch-ings won the guest prize. n |
