Show Work on the Swimming Progressing Rapidly More Funds Needed To Complete Com-plete Swimming Pool The building of a swimming pool in Milford, a project sponsored by the Milford Lions Club, is developing into a more extensive proposition than anticipated, and as a consequence conse-quence will require more funds than was at first estimated. However, money for the project is coming in nicely and everyone is contributing in order that the pool will be strictly up-to-date, sanitary, and one that will furnish pleasure for the kiddies, the young people and even the older citizens of the town. " Work started on the pool this week with a large force of men. Considerable Consid-erable donation work is being given as well as donations in materials. The pool will be 75 feet long, 28 feet wide and will slope from 30 inches in-ches to six and a half feet in depth. A rope net will be placed across the pool to keep the small children from j the deep water ,and a trough will be I built in the concrete at the edge to catch the slime. 30 to 50 gallons of 'pure water per minute will run j through the pool, thus making it strictly sanitary. This water will be pumped from the pool and used for irrigating lawns an dgardens. A plank platform, will be built on ! three sides of the pool and fifty feet of bath houses will be erected. When completed a man will be placed in charge, and a small admission charged char-ged for maintenance of the bath j houses and pool.
