Show Buckhorn Flat Sees Another Auto Wreck Chalk up another automobile accident ac-cident for Buckhorn flat. This time the principals were Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Gilliland, aged couple from Pasadena, Pasa-dena, California, who had got this far on their way to visit members of their family in Sioux City, Iowa. They were driving a Willys-Knight sedan several miles out from here on the Buckhorn flat when Mr. Gilliland Gilli-land apparently lost control as the result of the car's striking loose gravel, and turned over. Both were badly bruised and lo-cerated. lo-cerated. Most of the flesh-was scrub-ed scrub-ed off Mr. Gilliland's left forearm and he sustained ugly scalp wounds one of which laid his scalp back from his left temple over a place as large as the palm of his hand. The lady sustained a bad cut on one leg, several bumps on her head, and a bad shaking up. but apparently no bones were broken in either. Paro-wan Paro-wan Times. |
