Show MINERSVILLE NEWS 1 Elmo Coffman spent the week-end at Salt Lake City attending the state high school tournament. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Roberts spent the week-end in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Lane Fisher and Children, of Eureka, are here visiting visit-ing with relatives. Mrs. James W. Eyre and son, Irwin, Ir-win, spent the week-end at Panuitch visiting relatives and friends. William Mathews of Beaver visited visit-ed here Sunday with his brother, Thomas. Benjaman Banks arrived here Monday Mon-day after spending the past winter in Eureka. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Worthen and son, Kent, and Gordon Jones, spent the week-end visiting in Washington county. Douglas Hall spent the week-end in St. George visiting friends. Mrs. Ed Bohn of Beaver is here visiting her son, Harold. Professor King Hendricks and Le-Roy Le-Roy Halverson of the B. A. C. col-.ege col-.ege faculty visited school here Tuesday Tues-day in the interest of high school day which will be held at Cedar City April 12. Mr. and Mrs. George Dalton and sons, Lyle and Leland, returned home Thursday from Los Angeles where they have spent the past year. Mrs. Ida Neilsen and daughters, Alda Neilsen and Mrs., j3owman of Beaver, visited relatives here Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Frank Nickleson of Parowan is here visiting relatives and friends. Bridge Party Miss Bernice Carter entertained at a bridge party Saturday night. The guests included Mr. Bateman, Lola Roberts, Agnes Wilson, Lauretta Mur-dock, Mur-dock, Mrs. Victor Showalter and Pauline Pau-line Mathews. St. Patrick ideas were used in the two-course luncheon which was served serv-ed at twelve o'clock. The prize was won by Mrs. Showalter. Sho-walter. St. Patrick's Party The Gleaner Girls entertained at a St. Patrick's party Saturday evening at the home of Virgene Jampson. Sixteen guests were present. Married Mr. and Mrs. Horace Cartridge announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, daugh-ter, Vivian Rollins, to Darwin Marshall, Mar-shall, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Marshall. The wedding took place March 13 in Salt Lake City. Sea GuU Girls Miss Noma Osborne entertained the Sea Gull Girls at her home Tuesday evening. The time was spent in sewing sew-ing after which a dainty luncheon was served to twelve guests. |
