Mrs. Oliver Martin is recovering lfter a week's illness with influenza. Reginald McGhie left Saturday for Provo where he will be employed in the U. P. shops. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Worth of Lund are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sid Manning. Man-ning. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Schaaf of Nada transacted business here Friday. Walter Vincent and wife of Salt Lake attended the annual dance of the B. of L. F. and E. here Friday. Miss Christie Osborn of Minersville visited here Monday. Last week Mrs. A. C. Nebeker taught the seventh grade during the absence of Mel Heslington, who was in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Doug. Fatheringham, Mrs. Sadie Sa-die Jones, Howard and Mark Jones motored to Beaver Sunday returning here with Mrs. A. L. Fotheringham. Mrs. J. D. Johnson returned last Monday from a two weeks stay in the capitol city. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Matthews visited vis-ited in Greenville Sunday. Mrs. J. H. Handley of Modena, visited vis-ited friends here Friday. She left .'or Salt Lake City Saturday. Charles Glenn left for Provo Sunday Sun-day where he will work in the U. P. shops. Geo. Peterson of Riverton, Utah, has spent the week at the Beaver Crown mine. Scott Barton and Jess Applegate were here this past week from Richfield. Rich-field. Geo. S. Frazier is on the board again. Allen K. Brown, of the California Hardware company, was here this week. Geo. M. Daley and Bert Lockhart, of Salt Lake, were In Milford Wednesday. Wed-nesday. John Ryan was in town from Bur-bank Bur-bank this week. Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Gonder and" W. S. Heckethorn of Garrison paid Milford a visit this week. Dr. F. J. Alexander was here last Saturday and Sunday. J. W. Winder, of the Winder Live Stock company, was here Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Griffiths, of Reaver, were here Tuesday. R. M. Chaffee, of Denver, Colo., is here on business connected with Cline's store. A. F. Farrell, the Conoco man, was here yesterday from Cedar City. Mrs. L. C. Davis is here from Caliente Cal-iente with her son who is in the hospital. F. Clark Kosler and son, Clark, are with us awhile. W. H. Hendrickson has been confined confin-ed to his home with a broken shoulder bone. Judge Wm. F. Nox passed through our town Tuesday enroute to Beover from a week's sojourn in California. Mr3. G. R.
