Show LOCALS AND PERSONALS Mrs. Dan Ferguson left Sunday for a brief stay at Beaver. Miss Mae Blackner left Friday morning for her home at Beaver. Mrs. Arnold Fotheringham, of Minersville, Min-ersville, spent Thanksgiving with her daughter, Mrs. Harold Baxter, and nephew, F. M. Healey. L. R. Fournier-, of the Telluride Company', 'was over from Richfield Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Al Joest entertained at a Thanksgving dinner. Those present pre-sent were Mrs. Annette Gleason and Bud Gallnor. Miss Dorothy Levi returned home from Salt, Lake City where she has been visiting. . - Mrs. Eddie Murdock and Mrs. Ber-niece Ber-niece Brooks, of Beaver spent Tuesday Tues-day in Milford on business. Allen,, of Salt Lake City was a guest of Miss Marian Schroeder from Wednesday until Sunday. P. J. Williams and wife of the Safeway store spent Thanksgiving in Cedar, with their parents. Mr. and, Mrs. Roy Goodwin, Mrs. Guy Goodwin, Clark Goodwin and Mrs. Gilbert Briggs were among the Beaver residents shopping in Milford Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Carlton and little daughter returned to Salt Lake City Sunday evening after spending the Thanksgiving holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Karl S. Carlton in this city. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Griffiths and daughter Inez, left Tuesday for Los Angeles, Calif., where .they expect to spend the winter. . Attorneys Sam and Harold Cline were attending court business in Beaver Monday. Mrs. I. Altman returned Saturday from a few days visit with her sisters in Salt Lake City. Thos. Llewelynn returned Frdiay from Salt Lake City where he spent Thanksgiving with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Hickman and daughter, Mrs. Juanita Griffiths, and two sons, have moved in from the farm and are nicely settled in Mrs. Dan Ferguson's home on Main street. Mr. and Mrs. J S.. Affleck, accompanied accom-panied by Marjorie White, motored to Beaver Sunday where Mrs. Affleck and Miss White stopped off while Jack went on to Cedar City on business. busi-ness. The evening was spent playing "500," and at a late hour lunch was served to Glen Stonehocker, Theo Gillins and Clarence Carpenter. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon C. Johnson of Hollywood were here this week. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hamilton of Beaver spent Tuesday in Milford. , Mrs. J. H. Hedges returned home from Cedar City where she has spent the past two weeks. Mrs. Pete Newell left Wednesday for Yermo, Calif., to spend a week. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sautter, of South Milford, left last week for Salt Lake City where they attended the funeral of 'Ben Johnson, Mrs.- Sautter's Saut-ter's father. Richard Sorenson, of Chester, came to Milford Monday for medical help for his eye, having had a large splinter splint-er forced through his eye while chopping chop-ping wood. E. C. Tebbs and A. C. Tebbs, of Panguitch, are here in Milford looking look-ing after their sheep interests. Dr. Chas. R. Parrish left Tuesday on a business trip to Los Angeles, expecting ex-pecting to return Friday. R. Nelson, manager of the Valley Creamery, returned Tuesday from Millard county where he had spent several days looking after business. T. T. Jones of Salt Lake, airway pilot, spent Saturday and Sunday in Milford. Scott Barton of Richfield and Veat-er Veat-er Goff of Panguitch were here the past week. Peter Nelson and John Westerhold who have their sheep in this locality wore here Friday. Ward Morris ,brother of Wm. Morris, Mor-ris, is stopping in Milford for an indefinite in-definite stay. |
