Show LOCALS and PERSONALS' D. A. Workman made a business trip to Salt Lake City the first of the week. Mrs. L. G. Clay returned Sunday from a visit with relatives at Fillmore. Fill-more. Mrs. Steve Stoker is taking the school census this week. Mr .and Mrs. Paul Patten of Los Angeles were Milford visitors Monday. Mon-day. Mrs. Selma Carlson and daughters, Helen and Marie, spent a few days in Salt Lake City with Mrs. Carlson's ' brother. They returned Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Will Fernley and family have moved to Caliente, Nev. Bernice Outzen is spending the week-end visiting friends in Provo. Rev. and Mrs. H. E. Root were visiting out of town a couple of days last week. ' ' - A Christian Science Lecture will be given Tuesday, October 29, at the Christian Science Church. Adv. Mrs. McDonald, who has spent a few weeks here visiting her son, Lochiel McDonald . and family, returned re-turned last week to her home in Hawley, Minnesota. She was so pleased with this part of the country that she is planning $0 move to Milford Mil-ford in the near future. Ted Kronholm went to Salt Lake City Thursday, via the auto way. Pete Newell returned from Zion Park Wednesday. He has been employed em-ployed at the park for the past six months. After a short visit here, he goes to the state of Washington, where he will reside. Surrounding towns as well as Milford Mil-ford will be pleased to know that a Christian Science Lecture will be given in Milford on Tuesday Evening, Even-ing, Oct. 29, at the church Edifice. Adv. George Haley, of the B. & B. department de-partment out of Salt Lake, was in Milford overnight this week. Mr .and Mrs. W. B. Neil, from Ely, Nevada, were here last week visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Davis. - Miss Fannie Carlton was in Milford Mil-ford Thursday, having returned to I Beaver County last week from Porto Rico. Mr. and Mrs. G.' C. Delgardo were in Milford Wednesday evening on vacation from their duties at Zion Park. Mrs. H. E. Fotheringham, of Murray, Mur-ray, is visiting here with her daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Scott Tanner and Mra. Xels Schow. Next week Mrs. Fother ingham and Mrs. Schow will leave for Huntington Park, Calif., to spend the winter months; en route they expect ex-pect to stop a few days at Las Vegas, Nev. Chas. Burgess, formerly manager of the Bonneville Lumber Yards here, but now employed in similar capacity at Delta, was seen on our Btreets Monday. f 0 |
