Show BUSSES STARTED ON U. P. LINE Operation of the Interstate Transit Company, a subsidiary of the Union Pacific railroad, began Sunday, Oct. 27th, with the departure of a motor coach from Los Angeles for Chicago, via St. George and Salt Lake, Denver and Omaha. From Los Angeles to Salt Lake the busses will go by way of San Bernardino, Las Vegas, St. George, Cedar City, Fillmore and Provo into Salt Lake. From the latter lat-ter city the line extends to Cheyenne and down to Denver, thence to Omaha. From Omaha to Chicago the line will parallel the tracks of the Union Pacific Pa-cific The new system will permit transcontinental trans-continental bus travel without change, according to the announcement of the company. At Salt Lake connection will be made with the Gem .Slate Traffic line, another Union Pacific subsidiary, operating .to PorUund, Oregon. |
