Show SOCIETY Vuxiliary To B. of R. T. Is Organized Here Mrs. Mary Connell, Grand Vice-president, Vice-president, arrived Friday from Denver Den-ver to organize an auxiliary to the B. of R. T. Charter members of the new Milford organization are as follows: Myrtle Ferguson, Clara McFadden. Vivian Hunter, Myrtle Mills, Claudia Hutchings, Albena Muir, Hannora Hutchins, Arvilla Muir, Nellie Hutchins, Thelma Talbot, Prudence Tensen, Edda Edwards, Ann G. Meeti.-gs were held Friday after-noon after-noon and evening, Saturday morning and afternoon. A banquet was served Saturday evening at the Union Pacific Dining Room in honor of Mrs. Connell, and visiting guests, Mesdames Scott, Pitts, Flood, Hinckel, Brownson and N'oland, all of Auxiliary No. 248 of Salt Lake City. Places were set for twenty-one. The table was beautifully decorated with chrysantemums, a gift of the G. I. A. of Milford. Favors and place cards were of Haljowe'en colors. col-ors. Mrs. McFadden was toastmis-tress toastmis-tress and each guest made a few remarks. re-marks. Before leaving, all joined in singing a song of appreciation to the visiting officer. Mrs. Mary McConnell, of Denv.j! organizing officer, was the guest o Mr. and Mrs. D. J. McMurphy while in Milford. Friday evening, Mrs. Webb, assisted assist-ed by Mrs. Myrtle Ferguson, Mrs. Claudia Hutchings, Mrs. Nellie Hutchins and Mrs. Vivian Hunter, gave a venison dinner at the home of Mesdames Webb and Hunter to all of the visiting guests. Entertain at Bridge Mrs. D. J. McMurphy was the charming hostess at a bridge luncheon lunch-eon on Monday evening, November 4. Those present were the Mesdames Kay, McDonald, Gadbury, Malstrom, Moore and Lee. Score prizes at bridge were won by Mrs. McDonald for points and honors. Mrs. Hutchins Entertains Wednesday evening, Mrs. Bernard Hutchins entertained her bridge club at her home. Those present were Mrs. Earl Gleason, Mrs. Ray Malstrom, Mal-strom, Mrs. Jack Langenbacker, Mrs. C. O. Sportsman, Mrs. J. C. Jeffers, Mrs. J. H. Hanlon and Mrs. John Hanlon. Score prize for bridge was won by Mrs. John Hanlon. A delicious delic-ious two-course luncheon was served. |
