Show MINERSVILLE NEWS Canyon Party to Honor Mrs. Osborne. Mrs. James W. Eyre entertained at a canyon party Thursday evening in honor of Mrs. Josiah Osborne, it being her birthday anniversary. Thirty Thir-ty guests were present. Old Folks Have A Social Event The Old Folks of Minersville, were j entertained at a party Wednesday I afternoon. The time was spent with a program and dancing, after which refreshments were served to sixty old people. Mrs. John Fotheringham returned home Sunday from Lehi, where she I has been visiting. I Abram Wood and son, Alfred, are visiting at Peterson, Utah, with Mr. land Mrs. William Wood. Walden Blackburn of Milford, is here visiting his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Ellen Blackburn. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell D. Wagstaff ! of Salt Lake City, visited here Thurs-I Thurs-I day with Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Math ews. Authinell and Sherman Carter, re- , turned home Saturday from Payson, I where they spent a week. i Mrs. Bert Wilson and daughter, Genevieve, of Long Beach, Calif., are here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rollins. Mr. and Mrs. George Davis and family spent the week end at Lehi. Gordon Jones of Rockville, Utah, spent the first part of the week here as the guest of Ward Carter. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Hall and daughters, daugh-ters, Thelma and Zolan, spent the past week at Puffer's Lake. Miss Jessie Thornton, of Beaver, visited friends here Sunday. Brothers George Paice and Albert Smith, of Beaver, were the speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday. Mt. and Mrs. Jul Rollins of Paro-wan, Paro-wan, are here visiting relatives. o |
