Show CEDAR CITY ABOLISHES CITY MANAGER OFFICE City Attorney John M. Foster has been instructed by the mayor and city council to draw up an ordinance abolishing abol-ishing the office of city manager and creating the office of supervisor of public utilities. The new ordinance, a reporter was told yesterday ,is to be similar to an ordinance drafted to fit the needs of Brigham City a few years ago when the office of city manager was changed chang-ed to Manager of Pulic Utilities and his duties and powers fixed under the terms of the ordinance. The new ordinance will define the duties of the supervisor who will have charge of streets and public utilities in Cedar City and he will be responsible to the mayor and city council.
