Show Proclamation WHEREAS, due to careless automobile auto-mobile driving the lives of all children child-ren are endangered; and, WHEREAS, most of the accidents in which children are injured or killed kill-ed can be avoided; and, WHEREAS, the local situation is such that some action should be taken; tak-en; and, WHEREAS, the American Legion Auxiliary of Utah has commenced a statewide movement, the object of which is to bring about a stricter enforcement en-forcement of the Utah State Traffic Laws, and further, to commence an educational campaign consistent with their means, which should' result in a reduction in the number of automobile automo-bile accidents involving children; and, WHEREAS, the American Legion Auxiliary of Utah, local chapter, is requesting the aid and cooperation of all local organizations; NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved, resolv-ed, that we, the undersigned do heartily hear-tily approve and endorse the action as above set forth, and do hereby pledge our cooperation in assisting tha American Legion Auxiliary of Utah, local Chapter, in every way possible to reduce the number of automobile and traffic accidents, in order that fewer children shall be injured, in-jured, maimed, crippled and killed.
