Show .;-'' Bithday Party Patsy Young entertained eight little lit-tle friends on Friday P. M. from two to five o'clock. The day was her third birthday anniversary. A lovely love-ly birthday cake bearing three can-lies can-lies decorated the luncheon table and valentine favors were carried out in an effective color scheme. A jolly time was spent in playing games. Those attending were Carolyn Clay, Jackie McDonald, Florine Famon, Virginis Goff, Memi and Yoeshoe lmai, Dern Outzen and Dickie Roch-ek. Roch-ek. Pierian Club On Monday evening, Mrs. Willard Nichols entertained the Pierian Club at her homp, with nearly all the members in attendance. The evening's eve-ning's program consisted of the English Eng-lish lesson, which was conducted by Mrs. Roy White, and an article, 'Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Lincoln,' read, by Mrs. R. B. Young. After adjournment, adjourn-ment, a handkerchief shower was given Mrs. Young, who left the following fol-lowing day for Cedar City to make her home. Some tasty refreshments were served by the hostess to Mrs. E. L. Bardsley, Sr., Mrs. Roy White, Mrs. R. B. Young and Mrs. Freda Outzen, members; and to Mrs. William Mor-ley Mor-ley and Mrs. Lester J. Famon, invited invit-ed guests. Mrs. Malstrom Entertain Mrs. Ray Malstrom was hostess to the members of her bridge club last Monday evening at her home in the McDonald Apartment. Score prizes at bridge were awarded award-ed as follows: Mrs. Tom Gadberry, club prize; Mrs. Earl Gleason, guests prize. A lovely luncheon was served -.o the Mesdames Gadberry, Lloyd Lee, Wilson Moore, Reno McDonald, Fred McKay and two invited guests, Mrs. B. E. Hutchins and Mrs. E. H. Gleason. Wednesday evening Bridge Club The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club met with Mrs. Earl Gleason last week. In the card play, prizes were won by Mrs. J. H. Hanlon for honors and Mrs. B. E. Hutchins, points. Those attending, were Mrs. O. A. Melcher, Mrs. Wilson Moore, Mrs. J. C. Jeffers, Mrs. John Hanlon, Mrs. J. H. Hanlon, Mrs. C. O. Sportsman, Mrs. Ray Malstrom, Mrs. B. E. Hutchins. Hut-chins. A delicious two-course luncheon lunch-eon was served. American Legion Party On Thursday evening, February 6, members of the American Legion and the Women's Auxiliary, together with their friends, enjoyed a dancing party at the I. O. O. F. Hall. The dance was held following the regular meetings of the two organizations. The Milford Orchestra, consisting of five pieces, supplied music for the event. The dance, which was lively and enjoyable to the large turnout that attended, continued until a late hour. A light luncheon was served during an intermission in the dancing. Mrs. Young Honored Mrs. L. J. Famon entertained eight little friends at a delightful i luncheon on Monday afternoon in honor of Mrs. R. B. Young. Covers were laid for six. |
