Show LOCALS AND PERSONALS Mr. and Mrs. K. S. Carlton, of Beaver, spent Wednesday afternoon in Beaver, remaining to attend the Republican Club banquet. W. O. Cluff, salesmanager for the Telluride Power Company, spent Tuesday and Wednesday in Milford looking after business affairs. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Osborn and family fa-mily have returned from Beaver to reside in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Lewis left Wednesday for Pagosa Springs, Colorado, Col-orado, to visit for some time with Mrs. Lewis' daughter and family. Fred Morgan, who has been clerk at the Atkin for several months, left this week for Long Beach, Calif. His duties at the Atkin are being taken over by Jack Holt. Mr. and Mirs. Walter Cook left Saturday for Blue Rapids, Kansas, on account of the death of Mrs. Cook's mother, who was 82 years of age at the time of her passing away. She was survived by her husband, 86 years of age, and by six sons and six daughters, all residing in Kansas, except one daughter in Arizona, and Mrs. Cook of Milford. Bernette Edwards returned this week from Pioche, Nevada, where he has been employed. Car Foreman W. F. Cottrell returned re-turned Thursday from Los Angeles where he atttended a meeting of the Supervisory Association. A banquet was given in Los Angeles at the Alexandria Hotel, which was attended attend-ed by all officials, including General Manager F. K Knickerbocker, Superintendent Super-intendent of Motive Power and Machinery, Ma-chinery, Mr. Long, Master Mechanic G. R. Wilcox, and Vice-president Win. Jeffers. Chas. E. Moore, railroad dispatcher dispatch-er at Milford, is laying off for a few weeks rest. |
