Show LOCAL BOYS CONFESS TO SLOT MACHINE THEFT The periodic assult on slot-machines in Milford took place Monday night, and this time the P. P. O. O. Garage was the victims. The thieves thiev-es g-ained entrance to the building through a rear window and forced the lock on the door between the garage gar-age shop and office. Two slot machines mach-ines were taken, but nothing else in the office was disturbed, although there was a large stock of" accessories accessor-ies and sporting goods in the room This fact lead Mr. Nichols to believe that the crime was committed by local lo-cal parties. The following clay Mr. Nichols and others made a trip around the outlying out-lying district and found the two slot-machines slot-machines in the brush west of town. They had been broken into and the coins removed. Clues from the automobile auto-mobile tracks lead suspicion to three local boys, and warrants was sworn out for their arrest. The boys implicated impli-cated in the theft are Harold Tomsik, Henry White and Cecil Edwards. We understand that they have admitted the crime, but will be given preliminary prelim-inary hearing Monday. |
