Show 'crushed by cave-in cave-in AT MOSCOW MINE Will Stewart, Jr., ot Adsmsville, is in the Milford hospital in a serious ser-ious condition, the result ot a cave-in cave-in at the Moscow mine, Saturday afternoon. af-ternoon. They had been talking to young Stewart -who was working in the drift, and had just turned to leave, when they heard the noise of the cave-in. Stewart was caught beneath be-neath a huge boulder. He was extricated ex-tricated from beneath the rock and muck, and rushed to the Milford Hospital. Examination showed that Stewart and received two fractures of the Pelvis bones, as well being badly mashed and cut. He also received a -serious scalp wound,, and while his condition is serious if no complications complica-tions arise, his recovery is expected, although he will be confined to his bed for many weeks. William, is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. U. Stewart of Adamsville, and has been employed at the Moscow mine for some time. This is the first accident of the kind at the Moscow Mos-cow since the present company has been operating. |
