Show PROM DECORATIONS DAZZLE REPORTER All this week perspiring efforts have been put forth by members of the high school junior class in preparation prepar-ation for their annual promenade which will be held tonight. Their work has taken shape in the transformation trans-formation of the high school gym into a place of sheer beauty, not even remotely resembling a gymnasium. A false ceiling of pale green and white, and streamered walls of the same colors, together with flower-adorned flower-adorned booths, have made the large hall a scene to be marveled at. It clearly shows the effect of long hours of physical work and artistic planning. plan-ning. The committee who have directed the labors, by which the prom will undoubtedly be a success, is composed of Elma Bird, chairman; and Horace Palmer, Howard Jones, Clyde Tanner and Margaret Cochrane. Literally a "junior" prom will be that of Saturday afternoon a matinee mati-nee affair for students of the seventh and eighth grades, who are not permitted per-mitted to attend the Friday affair. n |
