Show MARRIAGE RITES TO BE HELD TOMORROW ALYCE SCHOW WILL WED GEO. ASHWORTH A wedding of much interest to Milford Mil-ford peop'e will take place Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Schow, when their youngest daughter, Alyce, will be united in marriage to Mr. George Ashworth, eldest son of Mrs. May Ashworth. The ceremony will be performed by Judge Herbert Nichols, in the pers-ence pers-ence of about thirty guests, relatives and close friends of the contracting parties. Mrs. and Dr. L. F. Kohler will attend at-tend the couple as bridesmaid and best man. Following the nuptials a wedding supper will be served at the Schow home, after which a private dance will be given at Arion hall. Miss Schow is one of Milford's most esteemed young ladies and enjoys en-joys the friendship of all her acquaintances. acquain-tances. She has been employed for the past fall and winter in the offices of-fices of Doctors Parrish and Kohler. She attended the Milford grade and high schools and has taken a prominent promi-nent part in the social life of the younger people in Milford. The groom is well known and liked in Milford although his home is in Los Angeles. He has been here often of-ten to visit his mother, who resides in this city. He is a musician of ability and will leave early next week for Los Angeles where he will resume re-sume his work with a popular dance orchestra. The future bride will continue con-tinue at her present employment in Milford until late in the spring, when she will join her husband to make their home in Los Angeles. n |
