Show FIRE OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN DESTROYS TWO RESIDENCES Fire of unknown origin completely destroyed two residence Wednesday afternoon and resulted in serious injury in-jury to one boy. No fire fighting apparatus ap-paratus was available at either place. The home of Hyrum Hendrickson at Glenwood was burned to the ground about 1 p. m. It is understood under-stood that practically all of the furniture furni-ture was saved but a young man by the name of Roland Oldroyd suffered a broken leg and dislocated knee when he fell from an upper story window while helping to remove the furniture. He was brought to Richfield Rich-field for x-ray examination and treatment. treat-ment. He is about 18 years of age. The loss to Hendrickson is estimated at approximately $1000. No insurance insur-ance was carried. Two hours after this fire started at Glenwood, the home of I. A. Cowley at Venice caught fire and was completely com-pletely destroyed, entailing a loss of approximately $5,000 to property and furniture. Te loss was about half covered by insurance.
