Show I GREENVILLE , Mr. and Mrs. D. Hunter of Fillmore visited with relatives here Thursday. Mart Barton, son :of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Barton, who has been in Colorado for the past six months, returned home Thursday. A number of ward teachers attended attend-ed Stake Conference at Beaver Sunday. Sun-day. : The first M. I. a! meeting of the season was held Sunday evening. Barbara Morris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morris sustained a badly burned hand Sunday when she was so unfortunate as to place her hand in a plate of hot candy. Mrs. Grant Murdock of Cedar City who has been at the home of her mother, Mrs. Julia Griffiths returned to her home Sunday., Primaries were held here during the week and P. M. Williams and O. A. Blackner were chosen republican delegates dele-gates and G. A. and Roy Barton chosen chos-en democratic delegates to the convention con-vention held at Milford. Monday afternoon Greenville was the scene of a bad windstorm. Trees were blown down at several places and some on the farm of S. R. Barton were uprooted. Mr. and Mrs. James Williams, Jr., accompanied by Mrs. S. J. Martin motored mo-tored to Milford Sunday. Miss Sarah Fletcher who is teaching teach-ing the primary grades here spent the week-end at Beaver at the home of Mrs. Wesley Farrer. Mr. and Mrs. Dan K. Barton spent Saturday and Sunday at North Creek with their son and daughter Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Thomas. Arthur Blackner and family motored motor-ed to Cedar City Sunday. |
