Mass Phylis Levi left Sunday afternoon after-noon for Salt Lake City, to attend the University of Utah. Mrs. Agnes Kelly and daughter, of Beaver, and Mrs. Minnie Sumner, of Ogden, have been visiting with their brother and dad A. D. Thompson, the past week. Mrs. W. G. White entertained Sunday Sun-day at a chicken dinner in honor of Mrs. Dan Ferguson and son Dan. Everyone is already talking about the Columbus Day Ball. It surely will be a gala event. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Post and daughter have left for Salt Lake City to make their home. Wm. Alexander has returned to New York City, after spending his vacation va-cation with his mother, Mrs. Mattie Okohira. Mrs. K. B. Coon and son Blair, returned re-turned home from Compton, Calif., where they have been visiting the past three weeks. Melvin H. Stanley left for Heber, where he has accepted a position with his brother. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. E. Moore and son are spending their vacation at Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Copeland and children, Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Johnston and daughter spent Wednesday at Puffer Lake. While they were enjoying enjoy-ing their hot supper snow flakes fell on their dinner plates. W. C. Harrison and family have moved to Lynndyl. Mrs. Less Farnon and daughter Florine left Tuesday for a weeks visit vis-it at Salt Lake City. Come and join the happy throng at the Ball Saturday evening, October 11 at the Arion. Z. C. Landes and Dan Ferguson motored mo-tored to Las Vegas, Nevada and Hem-et, Hem-et, California Thursday returning Sunday morning. Mrs. Landes and baby accompanied them homle. |
