Club Entertained Mrs. Mildred Rochek entertained at Bridge Friday night, the following members; Mrs. Mildred Coon, Mrs. Vera Yepson, Mrs. Vera Vincent, Mrs. Louise Campbell, Mrs. Jeanette Kohl-er, Kohl-er, guests, Mrs. Frances Stanley, Mrs. Myrtle Mills and Mrs. Alene Osborn. Prizes for points, Mrs. Yepson; lion-oi lion-oi s, Mrs. Campbell; guest, Mrs. Mills. Bridge Party Mrs. Wm. Cochrane was hostess to the -Saturday afternoon bridge club at hot home. The following members were present: Mesdames J. M. .Williams, .Wil-liams, R. M. Copeland, Wm. Morley,' C. C. Sloan, Rue Neilson, W. C. Cates; ' invited guests, Mrs. Wm. Dawson and Mi's. F. R. Levi. Score prizes for points, Mrs. Williams; honors, Mrs. Cates; guest, Mrs. Levi. Party Jack Bardsley entertained Thursday in honor of Wm. Alexander, of New York City. Those present were: Misses Mis-ses Bessie and Mildred Killam, Gladys Coleman and Jayne Sloan, Howard Jones, Walter McCulley and, the honored hon-ored guest. The evening was spent in playing cards after which dainty refreshments re-freshments were served by 'Mrs. E. L. Bardsley. C. C. C. Club Miss Ida Crawford entertained members of the C. C. C. Club at herj home Monday night at "500." Thei following were present, Mrs. H. W. Peterson, Mrs. Geo. Litchfield, Mrs. L. D. McFadden, Mrs. Wayne Lyman, Mrs. E. D. Lyman, Mrs. C. R. Crawford; Craw-ford; guest, Mrs. E. F. Huddelston. Club prize was won by Mrs. E. D. Lyman; consolation, Mrs. Crawford; J guest, Mrs. Huddleston. B ' Waddingham entertained Monday ev-j cuing at a stork shower, at the home of Mrs. White in honor of Mrs. D. M. Burns. The following were present: Mrs. T. A. Mills, Miss Bessie Killam, Mrs. J. M. Christiansen, Mrs. Geo. Homstreet, Mrs. J. S. Killam, Mrs. Frank Kuchenmeister, Mrs. Ray Mills, Mrs. E. H. Glc-ason, Mrs. W. G. White, Mrs. L. B. Waddingham, Mrs. J. A. After cards delicious de-licious refreshments were served. j Pierian Club The Pierian Club met at the home ' I're.-idcnt, Mrs. Roy White on1 T,i'r.-!ay evening, September 25, as t o Parent-Teacher meeting came on Monday evening the regular date. The rol! call was answered by members I rr-f'nt with a good sentiment. The Lesson Subject from our book on Civil Government, entitled, "Our Outlying Possessions" was read by members. An article from "The Pay Roll riniider," entitled "Benjamin Franklin Onr Patron Saint," was read by Mrs. I's Cay. Both lesson and article we re very interesting and in.-tructive, and were discussed by the members. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess after which the meeting meet-ing was adjourned till Monday evening, even-ing, October 13. Club Entetained Mrs. M. P. Lewis entertained the Saturday dinner bridge club at her home on Stoddard St., the following members were present: Mrs. Rue Neilsen, Mrs. J. R. Momlock, Mrs. J. M. Kinney, Mrs, Geo. Fernley,' Mrs. Erma Gillies, Mrs. Merrill Miller, invited in-vited guests, Mrs. E. R. Smyth, Mrs. Scott Tanner. Score prizes points, Mrs. Gillies, honors; Mrs. Neilsen, consolation. Mrs. Kinney the hostess was assisted by Mrs. Scott Tanner. "The Ladies Auxiliary to The American Ameri-can Legion attended a banquet ami program at Beaver Thursday night for the purpose of installing officers for the coming year.
