Show MRS. PARRISH NEW 1 PRESIDENT P. T. A. At the first meeting this season of the Milford Parent-Teacher association, associa-tion, held in the high school auditorium auditor-ium Monday evening, a reorganization of the association was effected. Mrs. M. H. Pool, retiring president, presided presid-ed and gave a brief report of the accomplishments ac-complishments of the past year. The association finished the year with a balance in the treasury of $25.45. It was decided to use this for the purchase pur-chase of new playground equipment. New officers for the ensuing year were chosen, as follows: for president, Mrs. Chas R. Parrish; first vice-president, Joseph Tribole; treasurer, Aaron E. Smith; secretary, Lee Anderson; And-erson; chariman of Program and Entertainment En-tertainment committee, Mrs. Margaret Margar-et Murdock. The preliminary program consisted of a vocal solo by Mrs. R. E. Ellings- j worth; talks by Principals M. J. An-1 drews and D. C. Heslington, during which they introduced the new teachers teach-ers in their respective schools. An instrumental selection was rendered Rayfield Crawford and Loren Hand. Mr. Andrews stated that much inconvenience in-convenience was caused by people calling teachers and students during classes, and he requested that calls be made only on the hour as classes change each hour and that is the only time when teachers and students are not engaged. |
