Bulloch ,state traffic officer for the four southern Utah counties, was in Beaver county the past week checking automobile lights, brakes and violations of highway slop regulations. regu-lations. Special emphasis is heing placed on the correction of illegal lights as these constitute one of the worst menaces on the highways. Motorists driving cars with one light, no tail light and headlights out of focus will be given tickets for the first offense, and if the evil is not corrected will be fined for a second violation. Officer Bulloch will patrol 91 from Cove Fort south. He has turned in his motorcycle and now has a brand new fully equipped car for use during the cold weather. Motorists breaking the law will do well to respect the sound of his siren and stop when overtaken. At the present time but little attention at-tention will be paid to speed .and over-loading laws, but after the first of the year, when the new 45-mile limit law goes into effect, violators of these regulations will also be prosecuted. prose-cuted. - n |
