Show DEMAND WORK Helper Unemployed of the co. took an organized stand to probe working work-ing conditions of the County Monday evening when over 200 gathered at the county court house to demand action and assistance from the county commissioners in rotating county work and tc investigate the hiring of out of county men on county road projects. pro-jects. Contention centered on the alleged hiring of outside laborers by the A. O. Throne Company of Springville on the Price-Cat cayon project. An organization appointed to represent re-present the jobless in negotiations with contractors regarding the employment em-ployment of local lobor. A resolution was also passed at the same meeting urging the county commissioners to ask employers of labor to either shorten short-en working hours, so two shifts could be run dai'y, or rotate the work a-mong a-mong the unemployed.
