Show WILD DRIVER FINED FIFTY DOLLARS AT HEARING AT BEAVER Max Williams, 19, of Kanarra, was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days in jail Saturday after pleading guilty before Justice of the Peace Fred T. Gunn in Beaver to driving a motor vehicle while under the influence in-fluence of liquor. The jail sentence and $50 of the fine were suspended for one year during Which time if he violates any state, city or county law he will stand liable to the full sentence. Williams drove his truck into the rear of Melvin Mathews' car during the celebration on the 2 4th, overturning over-turning the car and slightly injuring the occupants. It was reported that Williams was out on parole for a similar offense in Salt Lake City, at the time of the accident, but no response was received re-ceived from Salt Lake officers when notified of the accident in Beaver. |
