Show SOUTH MILFORD The Community Club will hold their meeting at the club house Saturday Sat-urday evening-, June 4. This will be a social meeting and President Palmer Palm-er promises a good time. The heavy winds of Saturday and Sunday played havoc with the gardens, gar-dens, alfalfa fields, trees and fences. Young trees, which have been carefully care-fully nursed, were stripped of their foliage, fences were blown down and irrigation ditches filled with sand. MINERSVILLE Reed Hall of Idaho Falls, spent Sunday evening here with parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Hall. Miss Marion Roberts departed Monday for Santa Anna, Calif., where she will spend some time with relatives. I Miss Marjorie Rassmussen of j Parov.-an is here visiting friends. j Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Baker andi children of Salt Lake City were in town last week. Miss Delia Johnson of Adamsville was a guest of Marjorie Blackburn last week. Mrs. Lois Waddingham and children child-ren of Milford spent Sunday and Monday here. Mrs. Fay Hall and daughters Norma Nor-ma and Virginia and son Dick are spending a few weeks in Menen, Idaho, Ida-ho, with relatives. Newell Iverson of Kanosh visited friends here last week. Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Jameson had j as guests during the week-end, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Glower and children child-ren of Zane, Utah. Mrs. William T. Morris and son and daughter of St. George spent a few days here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Glen McKnight and children Neola and Daren spent two davs of last week in Lehi. Mrs. Emma Graff of Santa Clara spent a few days here with her son Oliver Graff. Mrs. Clarence King and baby have returned to their home at Price, after af-ter being here for sometime. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thomas and sons Dick, Orel and Allen of Garfield spent last week here with Mrs. Thomas' mother, Lillie Roberts. Stanley McKnight and Kenneth Kelsey made a business trip to Salt Lake City, Thursday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Osborne of Cedar City were week-end guests at the Josiah Osborne home. Mrs. F. 0. Watts and son Carter of Kanosh are here with relatives. The primary held a festival here Monday afternoon. A large crowd was in attendance. The Mesdames Josiah Osborne and Randell Banks, entertained the members mem-bers of the mothers club at the Osborne Os-borne home Friday, the time was spent in sewing after which refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Dick Jones, of Milford is spending a few days at the home of her mother, Mrs. Sarah Jane Martin and her sister, Mrs. James Williams, Jr. Josephine Thomas, Loretta and Luella Baker of North Creek called on their friends and relatives here Wednesday. Nola Baker of North Creek who has been visiting at the home of her friend Agnes Morris for the past three or four days returned home Wednesday. Floyd Henroid who has been visiting visit-ing in Salt Lake City for the past week returned home Saturday. Ross Calvert, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Atkin, Dorothy Calvert were taking Arthur Calvert and Oscar Stevenson to Milford Monday night where they were to meet the twelve o'clock train. Down below the Hanging Rock a car driven by Harold Cline while passing collided with the Calvert car and damaged it to the extent that it had to be left on the road. Messrs. Calvert Cal-vert and Stevenson went into Milford with a passing car and phoned to Greenville for Chester Atkin w'ho came and brought the rest of the party home. Marion Reese of Cedar City spent Memorial Day here. George, Joe and Mart Barton lassoed las-soed an Eagle Monday morning. The bird measured over five feet from tip to tip. Quite a number of feathers were gone out of the tip of one wing making it difficult for the bird to fly far. He was turned loose Monday-afternoon. Monday-afternoon.
