Show KILL THE DANDELION A neat, well tended lawn is an asset not only to the property it adorns but to the entire town. The citizen who plants and cares car-es for a lawn deserves the whole hearted appreciation and cooperation cooper-ation of all his neighbors. And the owner of a lawn needs that cooperation. There is a little foe of lawns that can render the lawn owner well nigh helpless without the cooperation of his neighbors. That little foe is the dandelion. Every dandelion should be killed and every bud and bloom carefully burned to kill the seed. The light seeds of this pest float easily upon the slightest breeze. Cut them deep and burn them. . . .. r |
